We are a local, independent family-run business based in Sheffield. From humble beginnings in a garage workshop in Tinsley, through building a national reputation on YouTube as specialists in alcove cabinetry, to winning Sheffield City Council's apprentice provider of the year award, then setting up a high spec workshop in Neepsend near Sheffield's fashionable Kelham Island District. We are a tight knit team serving the people of Sheffield and beyond with a reliable small business ethos, rooted in careful design and specialist knowledge about fitted furniture. ​

Our Design Director, Alastair Johnson, is passionate about design and can help turn your ideas into clever storage solutions. With many years experience, we know what works and how to get the best out of your space. You may even have spotted Alastair as one of the carpenters on BBC Interior Design Matters!
Quality Make & Finish
Your furniture is all carefully manufactured onsite in our workshop, it is not manufactured elsewhere, like some companies. In addition, we spend time and care on the finish - our quality of finish is second to none.

Each installation is covered by our Freebird Promise. Once installation is complete, we leave you with a wooden Freebird keepsake that represents our commitment to you. Simply contact us if you need to be reminded of the paint used etc. In addition to this, we will return to your furniture if you're not completely satisfied with the result.
